The Renton School District is in Washington. It serves the town of Renton, as well as parts of the towns of Bellevue, Newcastle, and Seattle. There are 14 elementary schools in the Renton School District for students who are kindergarten age through fifth grade. They are Benson Hill, Bryn Mawr, Campbell Hill, Cascade, Hazelwood, Highlands, Honeydew, Kennydale, Lakeridge, Maplewood Heights, Renton Park, Sierra Heights, Talbot Hill, and Tiffany Park.
The district has three middle schools for students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. They are Dimmit, McKnight, and Nelson.
Renton School District has three high schools for ninth grade and above. They are Hazen, Lindbergh, and Renton.
Other schools and programs within the district are Griffin Home, HOME Program, Meadow Crest Early Learning Center, Renton Academy, Sartori Education Center, Secondary Learning Center, and Virtual High School. A new school, Risdon Middle School, is scheduled to open in the fall of 2017.
The Renton Memorial Stadium is located at 405 Logan Ave N, Renton, WA 98057. The stadium is used by all the high schools in the district. It features artificial turf and an all-weather track.
The Renton School District likes to recognize employees who go above and beyond what is expected of them. The Outstanding Employee Awards are given out annually to five staff members. The awards cover not only teachers, but administrative and support staff as well. The Outstanding Employee Awards date back over 30 years.
